Aurora, CO REALTOR® Max Zakzun | Russian-Speaking Real Estate Expert

Looking for an experienced Aurora, Colorado REALTOR® who combines local market knowledge, attention to detail, technology, and clear communication? Meet Max Zakzun with CORE Home Team, a Denver metro real estate agent based in the Aurora area who is also fluent in Russian.

Max serves home buyers, sellers, investors, and families throughout Aurora, Centennial, Parker, Castle Rock, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Thornton, Northglenn, Westminster, Denver, Arapahoe County, Douglas County, and surrounding Denver metro communities.

As a Russian-speaking real estate agent in Colorado, Max also provides an important resource for Russian-speaking clients living in the United States who want to navigate the Colorado real estate market with an agent who can communicate with them in Russian.

Whether he's helping someone purchase their first home, navigate new construction, sell a property, complete a 1031 exchange, or understand a complicated contract, Max's approach comes back to the same goal: making sure his clients understand what is happening and feel confident in their decisions.

From Customer Service to Colorado Real Estate

Before becoming a Colorado real estate agent, Max spent years working in customer service-based roles.

Those experiences taught him skills that would ultimately become central to the way he approaches real estate.

“Before real estate, I spent years in customer service based roles, where I spent every day talking with people, explaining things clearly, and making sure they felt taken care of,” Max says. “I realized I genuinely loved that part of the job: the communication, the problem-solving, the trust-building.”

Real estate gave him an opportunity to use those skills for something even more meaningful.

“Real estate lets me help people through one of the biggest milestones in their lives. I'm detail-oriented and hands-on throughout the entire process, making sure nothing is overlooked.”

Max especially enjoys educating his clients, solving problems, negotiating on their behalf, and developing relationships that continue after the transaction is complete.

“Seeing my clients achieve their goals while feeling confident and supported is what makes this career so rewarding.”

A Russian-Speaking REALTOR® Serving Aurora and the Denver Metro Area

For Russian-speaking home buyers and sellers, being able to communicate with a real estate professional in their preferred language can make an already complicated transaction easier to understand.

Max is fluent in both Russian and English and works with Russian-speaking clients living in the United States who are buying, selling, investing, or relocating in Colorado.

Real estate transactions involve contracts, inspections, financing, negotiations, deadlines, title documents, insurance, and many other details. Max's emphasis on education and clear communication helps his clients better understand those pieces throughout the transaction.

For someone searching for a Russian-speaking REALTOR® in Aurora, Denver, or Colorado, Max offers both language accessibility and extensive knowledge of the Denver metro real estate market.

What Areas of Colorado Does Max Zakzun Serve?

Max primarily serves the Denver metro area, from communities north of Denver down through Castle Rock.

His service areas include:

  • Aurora

  • Centennial

  • Parker

  • Castle Rock

  • Lone Tree

  • Highlands Ranch

  • Denver

  • Thornton

  • Northglenn

  • Westminster

  • Arapahoe County

  • Douglas County

  • Surrounding Denver metro communities

Max knows Arapahoe County and Douglas County particularly well.

“The majority of my transactions come from these two counties, so I have a strong pulse on pricing trends and what's happening in these markets.”

That local market knowledge can be particularly valuable for buyers comparing communities such as Aurora vs. Centennial, Parker vs. Castle Rock, or Lone Tree vs. Highlands Ranch.

Helping First-Time Home Buyers in Aurora and Denver

Max works with many different types of real estate clients, but first-time home buyers are his favorite.

Buying your first home involves far more than finding a house you like. Buyers need to understand financing, inspections, homeowners insurance, contracts, negotiations, closing costs, and how a property's condition and location could affect them in the future.

Max's detail-oriented personality is especially valuable during this process.

His biggest advice to Colorado home buyers is to shop around.

“If you're buying, my biggest piece of advice is to do your due diligence and shop around, not just for your loan, but for your homeowners insurance too,” Max says.

“A lot of buyers stick with the first quote they get, but rates and terms can vary a lot between lenders and insurers. I always encourage my clients to compare their options before making a decision.”

Buying or Selling a Home With Max Zakzun

In addition to first-time buyers, Max works with a wide range of clients and transaction types, including:

  • First-time home buyers

  • Home sellers

  • Move-up buyers

  • Colorado relocation clients

  • New construction buyers

  • Custom home builds

  • Luxury real estate

  • VA home buyers

  • Real estate investors

  • 1031 exchanges

  • Condo buyers and sellers

Rather than specializing in one particular style of home, Max considers himself client-focused.

“I don't have a specific type of home I gravitate toward,” he says. “What I enjoy most is being client-focused, understanding each person's unique goals, and helping them find whatever home is going to get them there, whether that's a starter condo, a custom build, or their forever home.”

An Aurora REALTOR® Who Pays Attention to the Details

One of Max's greatest strengths as a REALTOR® is understanding details that can easily be overlooked during a real estate transaction.

“What sets me apart is the depth of knowledge I bring to the details that other agents often overlook,” Max says.

That includes strong knowledge of condos and potential condo-specific issues, as well as experience with home inspections, financing, loan options, new construction, and builder contracts.

New construction contracts in particular can be very different from the contracts buyers encounter in a traditional resale transaction.

Max has experience helping clients navigate those agreements and understand the terms and potential pitfalls involved when buying a new construction home in Colorado.

He also closely follows local market pricing.

“I stay on top of local market pricing so my clients always know they're getting a fair deal,” he says.

Combined with his negotiation skills, that knowledge allows Max to advocate for his clients from the beginning of the transaction through closing.

Why Max Believes in Verifying the Details

Real estate transactions involve a lot of people.

Agents, lenders, inspectors, contractors, title professionals, insurance companies, builders, and other parties may all play a role.

One of the biggest lessons Max has learned is not to simply assume every piece of information he's given is correct.

“One lesson that has made me a better REALTOR® is to never just take someone's word for it, whether it's a lender, another agent, a title company, or a contractor,” Max says.

“I've learned to always verify the facts myself rather than assume what I'm told is accurate.”

That attention to detail has helped him catch mistakes, solve problems, and create better outcomes for his clients.

Helping a First-Time Buyer Through the DOORS Program

One of Max's most memorable transactions involved helping a client purchase a home through the Elevations Community Land Trust DOORS program.

The program involved a specific structure and many moving parts that required Max to learn the process and make sure everything was handled correctly.

Max ultimately became the first real estate agent in Colorado to successfully complete a home purchase through the program.

“It took a lot of extra work to figure out the process and make sure everything was done correctly,” Max says, “but seeing my client become a homeowner through a program that made it possible for them made it all worth it.”

The transaction is also a good example of what Max enjoys about real estate: solving a complicated problem and helping someone reach the finish line.

The Best Part of Being a Colorado REALTOR®

Real estate transactions aren't always easy.

There can be stressful inspections, financing complications, negotiations, appraisal issues, title questions, deadlines, and unexpected problems along the way.

That's exactly why Max's favorite moment is the end.

“My favorite part is reaching the finish line after everything it took to get there,” he says.

“Real estate isn't always smooth, but seeing the happiness and joy on my clients' faces once everything is finally done makes every step of the process worth it.”

Selling a Home in Aurora or the Denver Metro Area?

Max has equally important advice for Colorado home sellers.

Don't automatically choose the real estate agent who promises the highest listing price.

“If you're selling, pick your agent based on their strategy and communication, not just who suggests the highest listing price,” Max says.

“A high number can sound appealing, but it doesn't mean much if it's not backed by a real plan to get you there.”

Understanding current Aurora home values, Arapahoe County real estate trends, comparable sales, buyer demand, competition, and pricing strategy is an important part of preparing a property for the market.

Max believes sellers deserve both a realistic assessment of their home and a strategy designed to help them reach their goals.

Technology Meets Real Estate

Something clients might not immediately know about Max is just how much he loves technology.

“I'm usually the one family and friends call when something's not working, whether it's a computer, phone, or smart home device,” he says.

“I love staying on top of new tech and gadgets.”

That interest carries directly into his real estate business.

Max is constantly looking for technology and tools that can make the home buying and selling process more efficient for his clients.

His combination of technology, market knowledge, and attention to detail is particularly useful when evaluating everything from property information to smart-home features and the many digital systems now involved in a real estate transaction.

Family and Life Outside of Real Estate

Outside of real estate, family is Max's foundation.

“Family is the foundation of everything I do,” he says.

Max enjoys spending time with his kids, experiencing the Colorado lifestyle, and making memories together.

He also loves learning new skills and taking on challenges that give him an opportunity to grow.

That curiosity is part of what he brings to real estate as well. When something is unfamiliar or complicated, his instinct is to learn it, understand it, and find a solution.
